Sunny Winter Maternity Portraits by the Lake in Powhatan County, VA

We photographed Abby’s maternity photos in January. Although I am all about photographing outdoors, I was a little nervous that it would not look as magical as I wanted it to since it was mid-winter. Boy was I wrong. Abby was glowing the moment she stepped out of the vehicle and I knew that I did not have anything to worry about!

We photographed at a private farm in Powhatan, Virginia. When she got out of the car one of the first things she told me was that her grandma is besties with the woman who owns this farm. Small world! Abby & Dale were so joyful and relaxed during this whole session. I love how the portraits came out and I hope y’all do too!
