High School Senior Portraits at the VMFA in Richmond, VA
When Lucy reached out to book her Senior Session to commemorate graduating high school, she emphasized that she wanted to do something a little different. After looking over her Pinterest board (yes, I love Pinterest), we agreed on having her session at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (VMFA) in Richmond, Virginia. We were both so excited about this session and the photos created were definitely a collaboration between the photographer and the subject. We photographed all over the museum, using the art as a backdrop. Then, we went outside to the gardens to use the sunset golden hour light. I used both my digital camera and my medium format film camera. Below are sixteen of my favorite images from Lucy’s senior session. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
