A Morning Stroll in Wilmington, North Carolina (on Film)

I traveled down to Wilmington, North Carolina to photograph a senior portrait session for a graduating University of North Carolina Wilmington student. This student, Olivia, is a close friend from summer camp and I was stoked when she asked me to photograph her graduation portraits. We had a two-part session where the first half was during golden hour on the UNCW campus and the second half was sunrise on Wrightsville Beach. It was a perfect combination to represent her time living in Wilmington. If you would like to see more from her session, click here.

After the sunrise session, we checked out of the cutest Bed and Breakfast, Taylor House Inn, and headed to get some breakfast.

Once we were done eating our delicious breakfast, we wandered around town before heading back to Virginia. It was a quiet morning and the streets were empty.

Hopefully, I will have the chance to visit Wilmington and explore the city more thoroughly. Although I only had the time for a morning stroll, this brief look into Wilmington gave me a taste of what the city has to offer. Between Wrightsville Beach and the Cape Fear River, historic museums and houses, beautiful churches, and good eats are tucked away in every corner.
